Senior Data Analyst

2+ years of experience in data analysis
Proficiency in Python for data analysis
Expertise in writing complex custom SQL queries
Ability to write readable, reproducible, and well-documented code
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as AWS Quicksight or similar platforms
Ability to independently troubleshoot issues and provide insights to complex data problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in cross-functional teams, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Extract, clean, transform, and analyze complex data from multiple sources to support R&D Operations and strategic decision making
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve R&D processes, productivity, and outcomes
Implement and monitor measures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data
Automate key performance indicator (KPI) reports and develop interactive dashboards to track performance, milestones, and results
Work closely with R&D stakeholders and R&D Operations teams to understand data needs and fulfill requests
Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval, analysis, and reporting
Partner with data engineers to enhance database performance and optimize the data architecture for better scalability and usability

Experience with version control practices and tools
Domain knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, operations research or related field
Expertise with the Python data science ecosystem
Strong data visualization skills
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with DBT
Proficiency in a Linux environment
