Senior Cyber Operations Specialist

Completion of CSOC or civilian equivalent course
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
MS/MS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent education and experience
GIAC/CISSP/CASP+, or equivalent DoD 8140/8570-level certification
Basic cyber planning and analysis skills
Knowledge of authorities, Title 10/Title 50, and cyber intelligence operations
Experience with Python for scripting/automation and data analysis (pandas, bs etc.)
Experience in securing information systems, network infrastructures, or related technologies

Analyze user requirements to determine both strategic and operational security procedures and technology requirements
Assist project manager in developing project plans, functional requirements, and delivering secure IT infrastructures and applications
Implement and maintain security measures for information systems and network infrastructures
Define and document security procedures and policies based on the current threat landscape
Support cybersecurity operations in alignment with military and intelligence community requirements
Develop and implement technical solutions for complex security challenges
Conduct vulnerability assessments
Create and maintain security documentation and technical specifications
Provide technical leadership to junior team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements
Gather information from disparate sources and analyze data

Military experience as 17C (Army Cyber Operations Specialist), 17xx (USMC Cyberspace Offensive Operator), or 1B4X1 (USAF Cyber Warfare Operations) or equivalent civilian experience
In-depth technical knowledge of current methods for securing information sources and delivery mechanisms
Ability to define procedures relevant to securing technology
Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
Work experience at NSA, CYBERCOM, or associated units
Systems Administrator experience
Strong technical background in network security, cloud security, and endpoint protection
Working knowledge of offensive security/pen testing (Web apps, databases)
