Requirements
- 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably with some in-house experience
- Intellectual curiosity and strategic, proactive decision-making
- Interest in working in a fast-paced environment where no day is like another
- Willingness to engage in new and unfamiliar tasks with minimal oversight
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Effective and direct communicator who is experienced and interested in working in a collaborative environment
- Familiarity with the US litigation process (international experience a plus)
- Detail oriented and driven to provide high-quality work
Responsibilities
- Shape, inform, and implement multifaceted litigation strategies across various subject matters to advance and protect company priorities
- Manage and help run all aspects of litigation matters, including e-discovery; fact-finding and analysis; witness preparation; motion practice; as well as arbitration and trial preparation and presentation
- Lead outside counsel to ensure litigation strategy alignment with Epic principles
- Frequently collaborate with cross-functional legal and business teams to practically balance legal risk with business needs, advise and support company objectives
- Identify opportunities for improving internal litigation processes and implement solutions
- Strategize, coordinate, and manage all aspects of pre-litigation matters
