Requirements
- 12 to 15+ years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geoscience
- A graduate degree is preferred in civil or environmental engineering or hydrogeology
- Registration with a professional association in British Columbia
- Member of the Society of Contaminated Site Approved Professionals of British Columbia
- Valid driver’s license required
- Knowledge and experience with provincial and federal guidelines/legislation
- Experience working on development, infrastructure and mining projects is required
Responsibilities
- Conduct reviews of technical reports as a CSAP and provide advice on regulatory requirements to project managers
- Support service area planning and goal setting, working with other senior level staff across Canada to provide integrated services for current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local, national and international collaborative opportunities
- Assist in business development activities
- Maintain positive and long-term professional working relationships with client contacts, contractors, regulators, engineering consultants, and external agencies
- Contribute to ongoing technical knowledge and innovation initiatives within Arcadis
- Support and drive Arcadis quality, health and safety, and performance management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Eligible candidates for membership in the Society of Contaminated Site Approved Professionals of British Columbia will also be considered
