Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with benefit plans is required.
- Extensive knowledge of group insurance (medical, dental, vision, life and disability products).
- Ability to use available resources to research regulatory issues and provide clear, concise and accurate information and guidance to clients.
Responsibilities
- Track a large number of open issues.
- Communicate thoroughly with clients and vendors to ensure a common understanding of each issue.
- Secure and maintain current and up-to-date benefit plan documents including amendments, Summary Plan Descriptions, policies, etc.
- Consult the sales team and keep them informed of significant concerns and client issues that may arise.
- Help train newer Client Service Managers when requested by serving as a partner on assigned cases, and instructing on welfare benefit plan issues, the completion of proprietary materials, the fulfillment of job responsibilities, and achieving standards of performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or health services administration or equivalent preferred.
