Senior Buyer

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior procurement or purchasing experience
Experience with SAP procurement and/or finance systems
U.S Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Minimum 2 years experience in a purchasing role such as a Buyer or Procurement role.

Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods and services.
Select, evaluate and qualify suppliers to meet ISO-9001, ITAR Compliance and Government compliance.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to P.O. delivery using SAP ERP system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Resolve delivery/receiving and accounting discrepancies
Be responsible for RTV (Return to Vendor) and RMA process.
Clarify specifications through Engineering and Quality for materials to be procured.
Assist Engineering, Program and Planning in resolving issues regarding new materials, new sources and the establishment of sources for new and existing products.
Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, generate NDA, LTA/MTA and manage relationships with vendors.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and quality of products to ensure the best value for the organization.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Domestic travel is required.
