Requirements
- 3-4 years experience in a Business Systems Analyst role in Technology teams
- Experience defining and documenting complex functional business logic
- Expertise in data mapping and creating data mapping specifications
- Familiarity with ETL processes and experience with Big Data and Terra Data platforms
- Expertise in gathering, analyzing and documenting business rules for processing data
- Expertise in test planning, test case preparation and testing of applications and data mapping
- Familiarity with SQL database and experience with scripting languages (SQL)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business partners and technology teams to develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document components, as per the requirements and detailed design
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, and coordinate design phases, while identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues
- Review technical design documents, understand how the design will be used in the code development process, and facilitate meetings to design, troubleshoot, and execute projects
- Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs, code, and unit test plans
- Conduct thorough unit testing, often developing and leveraging automated unit testing frameworks, and improve performance of single functions through performance tuning
- Plan design/implementation activities, ensure technical solution quality, provide third-level support for various technologies, and drive technical platform evolution and improvements
- Estimate activities/tasks required to perform design, coding, and unit testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience working in Agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the Agile Framework
- Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime offenses
- Knowledgeable on business process modeling, process mapping
- Knowledge of IT delivery methodologies: Agile, Iterative Waterfall and Waterfall
