Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-7 years of business systems experience with at least 2-3 years focused on HRIS platforms (Workday experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in an HRIS environment
  • Experience implementing and integrating international payroll services with HRIS platforms
  • Understanding of global payroll requirements and how they integrate with core HRIS functions
  • Experience with full lifecycle HRIS implementations with emphasis on payroll module configuration
  • Demonstrated experience in HR and payroll process improvement and workflow automation across multiple countries
  • Deep understanding of HRIS concepts and applications, particularly in core HR, payroll, benefits, and talent management functions
  • Knowledge of US tax and labor laws as well as awareness of international payroll compliance considerations
  • Experience working with third-party international payroll providers and implementing integration solutions
  • Ability to translate complex global HR and payroll business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong knowledge of integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies
  • Proficiency in interpreting API documentation of cloud-based applications, basic programming logic, and SQL
  • Experience with global HR/payroll analytics and compliance reporting
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage cross-functional global HRIS initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead and execute the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of our new HRIS platform, coordinating the flow of critical HR and payroll data across multiple functional areas and applications
  • Configure and maintain US payroll processes within the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy, compliance with federal and state regulations, and timely processing
  • Implement and integrate international payroll services with our HRIS platform, working with third-party vendors and global teams to ensure seamless data flow and compliance with local regulations
  • Establish and document international payroll interfaces, data mapping requirements, and integration points between our HRIS and regional payroll providers
  • Analyze current HR and payroll processes (domestic and international) to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Build, test, and deploy internal applications, workflows, and integrations that support our strategic global HR and payroll objectives
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR, global Payroll teams, and Business Technology, translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Document processes, configurations, and integrations; develop and deliver training on global payroll and HR best practices within the HRIS platform
  • Create comprehensive reporting and analytics capabilities for global payroll and HR metrics
  • Maintain and continuously improve our global HR and payroll data ecosystem, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and security standards are met
