Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in business, management, or science and technology.
- 7+ years’ experience in business development or sales with proven track record of revenue growth.
- 5+ years’ experience in a healthcare or biotech setting.
- Demonstrated ability with computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Engage in business development, sales and marketing activities and identify collaboration opportunities with major clients and other companies.
- Lead sales and marketing teams in creating sales plans and marketing campaign strategies that align with company priorities.
- Capture and extrapolate data from the CRM to identify and promote sales opportunities through leads and client intelligence.
- Negotiate contract terms between PreventionGenetics and other entities. These will primarily involve contracts with clients and with business partners, both national and international.
- Maintain good working relationships with existing clients to enhance client retention and new sales through referrals and references.
- Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, closing sales; and preparing new concepts for products, services, applications, and sales strategies.
- Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, turnaround time schedules, and merchandising techniques to develop and execute business plans to counter competitor activities.
- Maintain current industry and sales knowledge and act upon market dynamics and trends to address client needs.
- Develop and execute business development strategies for company sponsored trade shows, national genetic conferences, and meetings.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives related to sales and department growth with autonomy in decision-making and discretion.
- Subject matter expertise in regulatory and compliance environments.
- Liaise with C- and D-level stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate Degree.
- Basic knowledge of genetics.
