Requirements
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
- 10+ years of communications experience working to develop, build, and grow overall brand presence and narrative.
- Exceptional writing/editing and storytelling skills.
- Strong media strategy skills.
- Consistent track record of successfully building communications programs among industry leaders, press, bloggers, and influencers.
- Broad business understanding, strong analytical abilities and critical, creative problem solver.
Responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for building, managing, and externally positioning brand communications strategies in partnership with the overall Adobe Communications team and brand marketing function.
- Identify new trends, movements, communities and platforms that the Adobe brand needs to have a presence, be a part of and/or partner with.
- Drive thought leadership and content development to advance Adobe’s brand narrative and awareness among key audiences including business professionals and communicators, and marketing professionals.
- Leverage strong writing and creative storytelling skills to create content for a variety of mediums: bylines, op-eds, media soundbites, standout social media content, executive speech writing and presentations and employee communications.
- Serve as the program manager for key internal and external communications moments to support Adobe’s Global Marketing Organization, including preparing messaging and slides for employee meetings and internal initiatives, as well as events, conferences, and more.
- Work effectively with global marketing collaborators and BU partners to understand subject matter areas and craft narratives for different engagements; work closely with Adobe’s PR teams to coordinate media engagement and strategy; Adobe’s Employee Communications team to drive internal communications, and Adobe’s design team to create visual stories.
