Senior Billing Specialist

Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite (or similar software) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Read and interpret customer contracts, identifying key terms that impact the setup of sales orders and invoices.
Ensure all sales orders and invoices align with executed contracts, company policies, and order entry procedures.
Uphold internal order entry process guidelines and corporate control standards.
Create accurate and timely customer invoices.
Address order entry and invoicing issues with internal teams and external customers.
Investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies and provide audit support as needed.
Organize and communicate a monthly working backlog of invoices, including status updates.
Prepare and maintain key management billing reports and metrics.
Generate and distribute monthly statements to customers.
Maintain accurate customer master data in Salesforce and NetSuite.
Obtain and validate sales tax exemption certificates.
Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements and support their implementation.
Conduct various ad hoc analyses to support business needs.
