Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other mathematical or technical area(s), or 3+ years of relevant work experience in a detail-oriented environment with high expectations of precision
  • A self-starter demeanor with proven time-management skills and the ability to work independently, while managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Analytical, detailed, and process-oriented tendencies with the ability to spot opportunities for improvements in execution to streamline and systematize work-flows
  • Comfort collaborating with others – both internally and externally to execute on payment facilitations
  • A growth mindset with the ability and willingness to learn quickly and develop new skills and abilities as the company grows
  • Roll-up-the-sleeves, committed mentality to have an impact in a fast-paced, constantly evolving growth environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Salesforce or other CRM strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the facilitation of accurate and timely tuition, revenue, and employer benefit dollars across Guild’s payment marketplace in support of KPIs
  • Investigate and resolve, with support when necessary, customer inquiries related to invoices, billing discrepancies, payment terms, and payment escalations
  • Participate in cross functional projects that may be time sensitive, and require a high level of execution
  • Ensure tuition, revenue, and benefit dollars are recorded accurately within internal and external tools and support clear documentation of billing processes
  • Record tuition, revenue, and benefit dollars within Guild’s internal tools with correct specifications
  • Implement and maintain clear and effective approval processes to ensure accurate invoicing + payments to Guild’s marketplace
  • Distribute invoices and partner files timely & accurately, within the correct mechanisms (email, file transfer, portal, etc.)
  • Understand and support changes to payment data flows within Guild’s internal systems, ensuring they are functioning effectively and meeting business needs
  • Have an understanding of the relevant payments ecosystem, emphasizing the interconnections between payments data throughout upstream and downstream systems
  • Support new partner billing on-boarding activities, ensuring Guild’s systems and operational steps account for changes necessary for effective billing
  • Successfully execute on SOC 1 and other compliance and audit requirements, gathering evidence submissions, and supporting a clean SOC 1 and other audits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM strongly preferred
