Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex data solutions in cloud environments. Hands-on experience with data ingestion, data modeling, data storage, ETL, and reporting, with a strong focus on streaming and event-driven logging using AWS services (MSK, Lambda, EC2, ECS, Glue, S3, etc).
- Knowledge in managing data security, compliance, and monitoring using AWS services (KMS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Athena and Power BI.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to the organization’s vision statement and decision-making framework, understanding how team and personal goals contribute to the organization’s vision.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative work environment. While the primary schedule is standard business hours, the role requires flexibility to adjust working hours, including weekends and outside regular business hours, to support urgent cybersecurity incidents and collaborate with global affiliates.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, reliable and effective data solutions on AWS, including data ingestion, ETL pipelines, data storage, monitoring and reporting.
- Monitor and troubleshoot failure or performance issues in data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss use cases, requirements, and objectives, developing effective data ingestion and data analytics solutions across the organization and global Toyota affiliates, and ensuring timely delivery of data solution projects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or related certifications
- Experience in cybersecurity domain
- Experience with SIEM solutions, such as Microsoft Sentinel, is a plus.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, with a focus on their big data and analytics services.
