Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field of study
  • Two to four (2 to 4) years of prior valuation work experience is required, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm
  • Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables)
  • Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably
  • Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical and projected financial information
  • Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments
  • Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments
  • Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel
  • Leverage financial and market data software platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg
  • Present thorough valuation analyses to our clients consistent with the scope of the projects
  • Consistently meet client deadlines and quality expectations
  • Maintain an organized, methodical and professional demeanor
  • Take ownership in the work product, including the analyses developed by junior staff
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Communicate project status and results both internally and externally
  • Effectively manage the deadlines of the project tasks undertaken by junior staff
  • Demonstrate strong report writing skills
  • Participate in a team environment and collaborate to share responsibilities towards attainment of team goals
  • Actively seek out opportunities for practice development projects and personal leadership skill development
  • Actively participate in BRG’s business development activities, including client meetings and presentations
  • Be ready to expand your network with clients to become a trusted and reputable advisor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Option Pricing Models (Black Scholes) and/or Monte Carlo simulation is preferred
