Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- CPA is preferred or CPA eligible
- 3+ years of experience in audit or transaction services in a public accounting or consulting firm
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions for PE, VC, family-owned businesses and corporate clients
- Analyze financial and operational results to prepare Quality of Earnings reports
- Prepare detailed financial analysis that will help our clients to evaluate acquisitions decisions and financing arrangements
- Evaluate financial information to identify issues/opportunities and recommend post-acquisition measures
- Work closely with clients, investment banks, PE investors, attorneys and other key stakeholders
- Participate in client meetings to gather data and valuable information to perform financial analysis work
- May be required to occasionally work extended hours or travel/to work from different firm offices and/or client locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working and communicating with mid-level accounting and/or deal related professionals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with the client as well as internally
- Attention to detail, deadlines and working efficiently
- Able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
