Senior Associate – Investment Accounting – Private Equity

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting is required
• 2-5 years of accounting experience working at a public accounting firm, private equity manager or a fund accounting administrator
• CPA preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as Adobe Acrobat
• Work with database systems and proficiency in data management preferred

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual audit reports and quarterly financial statements and capital accounts
• Review of quarterly financial statements from partnership investments and other investment information to determine valuations of investments pursuant to ASC 820
• Interaction with various members of the investment and client service teams to obtain information and provide necessary reports
• Participation in cash reconciliation process
• Completion of client requests and special projects as they arise

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred
• Work with database systems and proficiency in data management preferred
