Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- 3-5+ years work experience in accounting or finance;
- CPA or progress towards CPA strongly desired;
- Keen attention to detail;
- Strong MS Excel, Tableau and SQL skills strongly desired;
- Familiarity with ASC 606, Revenue from contracts with customers;
- Understand the SaaS business model preferred;
- Ability to self-motivate, adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- General Ledger experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Compile consolidated revenue metrics and forecast inputs for internal and external distribution on monthly, quarterly and year-end basis;
- Assist with disaggregation of revenue by type, cloud and geography;
- Identify and suggest opportunities to improve process efficiencies within assigned areas of responsibility;
- Prepare and maintain process documentation;
- Assist with preparation of internal and external audit requests;
- Work on cross-functional projects across multiple Finance teams;
- Perform other ad hoc analyses as requested.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understand the SaaS business model preferred;
- Experience with Salesforce.com and Zuora Revenue a plus;
