Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, Tableau, IBM Cognos TM1, and strong analytical and technical financial modeling skills
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication
Responsibilities
- Daily distribution of sell-side notes and stock trading summary to Executives
- Manage earnings call logistics, preparation of earnings call presentation materials/slides and other related support
- Maintain sell-side financial forecast updates in planning analytics software (i.e., TM1 and Tableau) for use by FP&A and Executive team
- Assist with IR budget process and related vendor contracts
- Manage the IR website by publishing new investor events and accompanying materials, coordinating website changes with external vendor, and updating governance-related information
- Ad-hoc research projects related to sell-side reports and industry/peer benchmarking, including researching investor questions, assessing analyst views on topics for internal Qualcomm teams, and analyzing sell-side analyst models
- Assist with preparation of Executive presentation materials
- Develop relationships with FP&A, marketing and other key teams that contribute to the earnings call and investor events, to enable quick turnaround
- Monitor peer earnings and transcripts
- Assist with planning, coordination, and onsite support of key events, including Annual Meeting of Stockholders and Investor Day
- Review Executive presentations to ensure they meet IR requirements, including consistency with company-approved messaging
- Monitor the public IR e-mail account and facilitate response to inbound questions
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA with prior accounting experience is a plus
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in finance and/or accounting roles
- A strong foundation in corporate finance/FP&A, accounting, and/or other related discipline is preferred
