Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; masters in health/nutrition policy and/or combination of related degree(s) and experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years professional experience conducting research and analysis and making informed recommendations required.
- Creative and strategic thinker with strong communication and analytical skills, both written and verbal required.
- Demonstrated experience developing summaries, reports, or presentations synthesizing complex information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
- Excellent project management skills and demonstrated experience leading projects to completion while prioritizing daily accountability required.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive issue advocacy campaigns and management strategies on key health and wellness policies globally.
- Provide critical policy support on health and wellness issues to in-market government affairs teams and cross-functional colleagues, including: Tracking and coordinating health and wellness public policy developments in priority geographic areas; Designing and producing summaries, reports, risk maps, memos and PowerPoint presentations; Communicating key trends and insights.
- Represent the company externally in industry associations and other forums on priority policy issues.
- Carry out strategies and actions with the highest level of integrity and ethics.
- Maintain strong relationships and internal coordination with the Nutrition Science, Communications, Marketing, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, Foundation, and Legal functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 – 5 years professional experience conducting research and analysis and making informed recommendations required. Global policy experience desirable.
- Experience in nutrition and sustainability policy and regulation preferred.
- Foreign language skills welcome.
