Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, PharmD) preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or business field required.
- Minimum of 8-10+ years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical or digital health industry, with a significant portion dedicated specifically to Alliance Management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile, complex alliances, ideally involving co-development or co-commercialization.
- Deep understanding of partnership contracts, including financial and intellectual property terms common in life sciences collaborations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build consensus and manage relationships effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities within an alliance.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership (executive presence).
- Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex alliances simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Drive the overall strategy, vision, and objectives for assigned alliances, ensuring alignment with both Click’s corporate strategy and the partner’s goals.
- Build and maintain robust, trust-based relationships with key counterparts at partner organizations, including senior leadership.
- Develop deep expertise in alliance agreements, ensuring not only compliance but also that the strategic intent of the partnership is realized.
- Proactively identify potential risks, conflicts, or challenges within the alliance. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies and resolve complex issues effectively and diplomatically, escalating appropriately when necessary.
- Continuously assess alliance performance and health, identifying strategic insights and trends. Proactively identify and champion opportunities to expand the scope, value, or duration of existing partnerships in alignment with Click’s strategic priorities.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Click’s overall alliance management capabilities, processes, and tools, incorporating industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of drug development, medical device/software development, and/or commercialization processes is highly advantageous.
