Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance
- Expert knowledge of DoD acquisition processes (DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101)
- Familiarity with statutory/regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., DAES, MAR)
- Strong understanding of program lifecycle support including budgeting and CAM
- Skilled in the use of tools for program planning, scheduling, and performance tracking (IMP/IMS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to provide clear and concise acquisition documentation and briefings
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving and decision-support capabilities
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle
- Apply expert knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101 to support the Adaptive Acquisition Framework across the full program lifecycle
- Support planning, research, analysis, and assessments across development, production, deployment, and sustainment phases
- Provide guidance on cost, schedule, performance objectives, and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess program effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with acquisition objectives
- Develop acquisition and sustainment documentation and statutory/regulatory reports (e.g., DAES, MAR)
- Support and participate in senior-level reviews, program management reviews (PMRs), and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) reviews
- Create and present acquisition briefings, plans, and schedules to senior management
- Support budgeting activities and understand funding types and processes including Central Asset Management (CAM)
- Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional teams to identify issues and recommend solutions or alternative courses of action
- Ensure compliance with Air Force and DoD acquisition policies and contribute to the development of process improvement strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- MA/MS Degree
- 10+ years of experience
