Senior Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3 or more years of relevant accounting experience
Proven ability to lead through change and implement identified process improvements
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Perform accounting processes for a variety of transactions in accordance with GAAP internal and external policies, procedures and authorizations.
Prepare journal entries dealing with more complex accounting functions including the month end close and consolidation process.
Review, analyze, and resolve moderately complex issues in accounting transactions.
Coordinate and prepares quarterly reports for inclusion in 10Q & 10K.
Own balance sheet accounts.
Research and clear outstanding reconciling transactions.
Provide oversight to reconciliation of general ledger balance sheet accounts.
Analytical review of monthly reconciliations, ensure appropriate controls, and resolve variances.
Improve processes to ensure that integrity, control and optimal efficiency are established while minimizing financial risks.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that support the department goals and service levels.
Flexibility to work on ad-hoc projects as needed/requested
