Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Experience within a professional services or consultancy firm is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including the preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
- Lead external audit processes, ensuring timely provision of required documentation and addressing audit findings effectively.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and systems, implementing best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Experience within a professional services or consultancy firm is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
