Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing mid-market accounts with 3+ years experience managing mid-market accounts within fintech, e-commerce, payments, or BNPL
- 5+ years of experience in account management, working with complex mid-market solutions in the financial services, payments, eCommerce, or technology sectors
- A track record of managing large-scale mid-market accounts, optimizing revenue streams, and driving strategic growth through high-touch client engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong sales acumen with a proven history of successful upselling and cross-selling
- Proven consultative sales skills with a multi-year history of exceeding performance targets
- The ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, working across departments and influencing all organizational levels
Responsibilities
- Developing deep relationships with key decision makers to understand their goals, ultimately influencing decision making through solving their business issues, delivering increased sales, and increasing market share
- Cross selling solutions that deliver mutually beneficial value to both merchants and Zip
- Crafting tailored solutions for merchants and articulating product enhancements internally, ensuring our BNPL offerings meet evolving market needs
- Structuring marketing campaigns that increase client market share and drive new consumers to the merchant and Zip
- Running effective Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate performance, share insights, and ensure alignment between merchant and Zip growth objectives
- Managing the renewal process for long-term contracts with key mid-market partners, focusing on securing mutually beneficial terms that promote continued growth and increased engagement with Zip’s BNPL solutions
