Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, specifically within the ad tech, digital media, or digital marketing industry.
- Proven track record of selling performance-based digital media, particularly to financial brands and companies aiming to reach audiences interested in personal finance and wellness.
- Deep understanding of the financial services landscape and performance-driven marketing.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on long-term partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Willingness to travel when needed.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a book of financial and related client revenue, consisting of both existing accounts and prospective clients to close and onboard.
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets through consistent new sales and upselling activities.
- Conduct regular client-facing interactions including calls, office visits, lunches, networking, and educational meetings with top ad agencies and brands.
- Educate prospective clients on direct response, customer acquisition, content, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Ensure client satisfaction by deeply understanding KPIs, driving goal achievement, and maintaining compliance.
- Drive forward planning, encourage data sharing, and identify new opportunities to support CTI performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts, opportunities, and prospects in Salesforce per team standards.
- Work closely with Sales Operations to delegate tasks, allowing you to focus on growth and strategic goals.
- Negotiate increases in client budgets by proposing new initiatives, products, and optimizations.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops and Product teams to develop new strategies, leveraging creative and landing page testing.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and lead internal and client education efforts on digital strategy, mobile, and technology.
- Facilitate onboarding of new clients.
- Stay informed on product updates, industry pricing, and competitive trends across display, mobile, and digital sales.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance reports, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate with technical, legal, tracking, trafficking, compliance, and creative teams to ensure smooth execution.
