Requirements
- 8 years of experience in IT and/or Cyber, with a minimum of 2 years managing a SOC
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Splunk Engineering experience
- Active Top Secret clearance or prior Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access is required
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of the SOC team
- Ensuring the effective detection, investigation, and response to cybersecurity incidents
- Leading a team of security analysts
- Developing and implementing security strategies
- Collaborating with other IT and business units to safeguard the organization’s information assets
- Ensuring continuous monitoring of security events
- Performing threat analysis
- Managing incident response processes
- Staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends
- Ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Sentinel
- GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
- GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
