Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree, 0 years of experience with Master’s degree.
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Plans utilization of office space with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds.
  • Plans, coordinates, and allocates office space for all locations.
  • Develops and recommends long-range plans to meet future office space needs.
  • Formulates, recommends, and ensures compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings.
  • Conduct high-level space utilization planning for Division Staff and SDS Programs.
  • Develop and analyze space metrics, preparing charts and briefings to provide visualization material for the Division’s overall space utilization.
  • Facilitate seating arrangements for employees and interns, ensuring optimal use of all spaces.
  • Manage and resolve space requests.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with requestors to discuss, analyze, and document space requirements and layouts.
  • Collaborate with program counterparts to collect current staffing demands and assign space across all SDS sites, including future expansion plans.
  • Assist with other Division projects such as phased relocations, facility reconfigurations, and furniture planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
  • Previous space planning and/or office planning experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in developing and presenting executive briefings to leadership teams
