Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology, or related life science field with 3+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharma.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and sequence analysis.
- Experience with gene and primer design.
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities
- Performing antibody selections using phage and yeast display technologies.
- Validating antibody libraries and optimizing antibody affinity.
- Executing molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, and DNA assembly.
- Designing genes and primers; analyzing sequences for accuracy and optimization.
- Following and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records using electronic lab notebooks.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve processes.
- Adapting to fast-paced project timelines and contributing to team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks and willingness to learn new systems.
- Interest or experience in flow cytometry, yeast display, or lab automation is a plus.
