Requirements
- Strong knowledge and extensive practical experience of supply chain concepts, including but not limited to production scheduling, finished good tracking, and cycle counting
- Strong knowledge and extensive experience in developing process standards and reporting tools for tracking KPIs
- Strong experience in SAP, previous scheduling/planning experience a MUST
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management or related discipline and minimum of 5 years related experience
- Demonstrated indirect leadership skills to influence others
- Strong knowledge of production, GMP’s, inventory management and planning systems
- Previous experience managing scheduling process and conducting analysis using SAP
- Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels of the organization
- Ability to make timely decisions when data is incomplete or conflicting
- Ability to understand and use Lean & RFT concepts and applications to resolve problems and improve our processes
Responsibilities
- Directly oversees site Detail Schedulers and scheduling process for Kalamazoo site; develops standards and tools to improve site scheduling process
- Owns their own capacity balancing of equipment and staffing against the monthly Production Plan to create an executable daily and weekly production schedule
- Responsible for the entire life cycle of the process order that includes the creation of lots, batch determination of materials, material staging, order writing, and reconciliation
- Collaborates with Value Stream Leads to develop performance improvement plans
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting on material usage variances, production issues, and attainment
- Establishes and publishes relevant metrics that accurately reflect site scheduling results and identify focus areas for improvement. Optimize the generation of metric reporting, utilizing the system to efficiently plan and to optimize planning operations and manufacturing execution.

Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred: Certified leadership skills in Production and Inventory Management (APICS, CPIM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
