SCADA / OT Technician

High school diploma or GED
Two [2] years of post-secondary training or education in computers, electronics, industrial automation, or related field
Associate degree from an accredited college, technical institute, or university in computer science, computer information systems, electronic engineering or a directly related field
One [1] year of work experience in a SCADA / OT network environment
Experience with water and/or wastewater chemical process, pumps, valves, hydraulics, instrumentation and controls, industrial computer systems, programmable logic controllers [PLC], or intelligent distributed controls

Configure, deploy, and verify functionality of SCADA desktop, laptop, and server hardware
Develop, modify, troubleshoot SCADA HMI screens using industrial automation software
Perform continuous maintenance and upgrades to SCADA systems
Identify, maintain, and troubleshoot HMI components
Execute daily, scheduled corrective / preventative maintenance and repair tasks
Use a computerized maintenance management system [CMMS] to document work activity
Maintain integrity of the SCADA system, in conjunction with and through close coordination with the lead technicians
Documents changes made to systems or equipment through appropriate communication and record keeping
Create and maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation
Attends weekly team meetings and presents safety topic on a rotation basis
Stays current on technical issues relative to the position
Ensures proper safety precautions are observed
Performs other related duties as assigned

Two [2] to three [3] years of equivalent work experience in a SCADA / OT network environment
Knowledge of water and wastewater SCADA systems and processes
Cisco Certified Network Associate Security [CCNA Security]
