Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of SAP transformation, technical advisory or consulting experience
- Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis experience with at least 3 implementation life cycles
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project, Large Workstream, or Client Lead on a large SAP transformational project with on- and off-shore resources
- Experience leading basis admins as a lead for implementation and support
- Experience working with SAP RISE
- Upgrades using SAP tools like SUM/DMO
- Implementation and Support experience in multiple SAP products in addition to ECC and S/4HANA
- Hands-on experience with Basis activities to enable integration
- Hands-on experience with integrating with SAP BTP and SAP SaaS applications
- Transport methodology and defining transport paths with N+1 landscapes
- Coordination with development, integration, and security teams as needed for basis tasks
- Creation and updating of architecture diagrams for SAP Basis components
- Support troubleshooting activities for SAP Basis issues
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
- English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our Global Enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Help clients understand best practices so they can do more with SAP
- Spot strategies, risks and options, and then recommend approaches that sidestep problems and help clients meet their needs
- Lead, coach and advise project staff in addition to managing their performance (depending on the project)
- Give clients options for designs using prototypes
- Set up and test the SAP system; understand and apply SAP methodologies
- Work with clients and stakeholders to make sure they get where they want to go
- Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs or improvement programs, whether domain- or platform-led
Preferred Qualifications
- You know how SAP’s business development process works and you can help clients understand how SAP will help their company do more
- You have solid knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: SAP Basis system ABAP and Java stacks, SAP NetWeaver suite ECC, BI, Portal, etc., Windows, UNIX Linux, HANA database, MS SQL, Scripting with UNIX, system monitoring, batch schedules
