Sanitation Lead

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
• 2+ years of experience in sanitation
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• Basic computer skills
• Basic skills with cleaning solutions, including preparation and dilution of chemicals
• Possess or willing to obtain a Food Handlers Permit

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces using wet cleaning methods and pre-mixed chemical agents
• Ensure compliance with cleaning and sanitation performance standards
• Lead and assist in disinfecting all surfaces in food production areas
• Participate in pre-operation inspections of cleaned equipment
• Support a food-safe environment through teamwork and proper sanitation training
• Oversee the cleaning of bathrooms, break rooms, and cafeterias
• Collaborate with team members to maintain clean, high-quality production surfaces
• Follow GMP protocols and use PPE as required
• Manage and organize cleaning supply inventory
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervision
