Requirements
- 12+ years of experience of strategic account direct business development and sales experience in the data centers vertical
- Long-term senior relationships within the data center markets, both on the developer and critical infrastructure side of the business
- A recognized leader in the industry, familiar with all phases of data center development, leasing and operational best practices
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully at the C-Level of multi-billion dollar companies and develop relationships at the executive level within accounts
- Ability to travel as required
- Demonstrated ability to close multi-million dollar projects (>$10M)
- Demonstrated success having carried a multi-million dollar individual quota selling direct to F500
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals, selling capital equipment, into large accounts
- Skilled in Consultative Selling and Technical Sales
- Passionate about our customers, solution, and cross-functional teamwork
- Bachelor degree required in any of the following engineering, business management, economics, technology, MBA is preferred
- Finance acumen and ability to overcome pricing arguments via Value Proposition and TCO selling
- Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level and drive alignment by influencing business partners, senior leaders, and stakeholders
- Excellent relationship and negotiations skills with internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Empowered and accountable to deliver key wins across our breakthrough global data center customers
- Responsible for driving and winning those accounts trust and deals via direct interaction with leading executives and teams
- Responsible for developing and progressing a large account strategy resulting in a well-developed pipeline for both select existing and new large data center accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
- Responsible for mapping of accounts and building relationships with key decision makers
- Responsible to call the plays necessary to execute solutions to solve clients pain points and build a positive relationship for ongoing wins
- Responsible for ensuring that the feedback from assigned accounts is properly captured
