Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Three years of experience in an RN Hospital position at the Cleveland Clinic immediately prior to retirement
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Provide coaching, teaching, and educational material as appropriate.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ admission planning, discharge planning and educational needs.
- Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Evaluate, update and revise plans of care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
