Requirements
- Associate’s Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- CRT – Oncology Nursing Society – ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate course completion required for RNs working in departments where chemotherapy/immunotherapy is administered required within first year
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients
- Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient’s responses to actual or potential health conditions
- Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- One year working as an RN in a similar setting strongly preferred
