- Bachelor’s degree AND minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of enterprise-wide risks using Medtronic’s established Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Support the Operational Risk program across various domains including Site, Supply Chain, IT, and Business Continuity.
- Architect, automate, and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics for both Enterprise and Operational risks.
- Drive risk mitigation efforts by capturing and reporting on risk activities, mitigation outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate risk insights, mitigation progress, and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee medium to large-scale, cross-functional risk-related projects, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and stakeholder expectations.
- Use advanced data analytics to connect multiple data sources, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support risk-informed decision-making.
- Collaborate globally across functions and business units to promote a strong risk culture and integrated approach to risk management.

- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and influence skills, including experience presenting to senior executives on sensitive and confidential risk topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
- Technical acumen and experience managing large, complex projects from ideation through execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with PowerPoint and executive storytelling for senior-level presentations.
- Strong process orientation and change management experience.
- Ability to self-direct and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to bridge technical risk concepts with strategic business objectives.
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with industry-leading risk platforms (e.g., AuditBoard, LogicGate, ServiceNow).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a plus.
