Requirements
- Extensive experience rigging in Maya
- Familiarity with 3D real-time engine technology and the Unreal Engine 5 art pipeline
- Attention to aesthetic detail, especially with regard to deformation and physics movement
- Knowledge of a 3D DCC tool such as Autodesk, Blender, Modo, etc.
- Experience with Python scripting, HLSL, and visual scripting experience
- Related skills, such as modeling and animating
- Experience developing pipelines and tools
- Experience shipping at least one AAA title
Responsibilities
- Rig assets and vehicles
- Set up assets in Unreal Engine 5; including physics and blueprints
- Work closely with modelers and animators to ensure a smooth development pipeline that delivers high-quality assets
- Create and understand material pipelines that span across different experiences as well as assist with pipeline tools and work with engine and project leads on the continuous improvement of those engine tools
- Collaborate with a range of artists, developers, and producers to create and implement tools or workflows
- Balance a variety of tasks, priorities, and bugs across multiple projects
- Write and maintain documentation for workflows and tools
