Revenue Accounting Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle complex data
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 340-40
• Experience in Inventory Management and Cost of Goods Sold

Responsibilities

• Execute and own the month-end and year-end close processes for revenue
• Work cross functionally to understand and create new workflows and processes for complex areas of the business
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all required documentation is prepared
• Assist with the implementation of various accounting technology software

• Startup experience is preferred but not required
