- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related discipline
- 7+ years benefits experience
Responsibilities
- Participates in the development of a benefits strategy aligned with the organization’s business strategy in compliance with legislative, regulatory and negotiated labor requirements.
- Key contributor in the development of benefits plans and programs.
- Analyzes trends and costs to make and implement recommendations.
- Leverages benefits best practices and knowledge of regulatory changes to recommend compensation changes.
- Develops communication strategy for benefit programs.
- Acts as final escalation point to consult on complex benefits issues.
- Conducts requests for proposals to analyze and recommend vendors.
- Provide ongoing management of vendors including contract review, monitoring performance guarantees, analyzing cost trends, and ensuring deliverables.
- Leads in the impact assessment of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures on employee benefit plans.
- Assists in the preparation of various committee meeting materials and may attend meetings.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards leaders to provide cross-functional support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
