Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of retail or customer service experience or bachelor’s degree with minimum 1 years of retail experience; experience with visual merchandising or store leadership preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills with customers and colleagues
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized self-starter able to thrive is a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortability reporting into a retail store and traveling by car (provided by EJD) or plane to customers based on region needs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and accomplish objectives in active store environment.
  • Compliant with all aspects of company travel policy.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Support Retail Execution projects (as assistant or general project team member) to complete projects with excellence on time and within budget.
  • Assist with leading the MSO and project team to execute the project execution plan, provide updates to the customer and project team, sort and label product and fixture deliveries, supervise and assist with fixture build / moves, de-merchandise/dry set/merchandise/label product, capture before and after project photos and assist with completing any other project documentation (punchlist, project recap, etc.).
  • Provide merchandising execution support for ad hoc Retail Execution projects, planogram resets and seasonal endcap changes for key accounts by effectively merchandising planograms to increase inventory turns and sales.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Retail Execution to make sure orders are placed (product, specialty fixture / POP, Vestcom – POG books & bin labels) and arrive on time.
  • Follow-up on recent projects and POG resets to ensure replenishment orders are flowing. Assist stores with credits and claims.
  • For key accounts walk floor, inspect Emery Jensen sets, merchandise and stock product if necessary; create space on POGs and place new products in existing sets; implement add/drops; ensure customer pricing labels are present and in proper place; identify deleted items and implement rollover or replacement SKU; check graphics and POP material as applicable.
  • Create current “as-is” floor plans for strong prospects and newly signed accounts by mapping out and labeling the assortments in each 4 foot section of the store, including end caps.
  • Assist with taking and documenting store measurements for relevant projects.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external partners to exceed new business and project cycle time goals; proactively communicate any concerns or challenges to relevant impacted stakeholders; provide on-going feedback on any process, POG, or other improvement opportunities.
