Retail Assistant Manager

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3–4 years of business experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate multiple websites and programs efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.
Attainment of Membership and Travel Insurance License required within six months of acceptance of the position.
Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.

Work closely with the Retail Manager to ensure that your team meets and exceeds sales and customer service goals.
Foster a sales and quality culture by focusing on the achievement of scorecard goals to include revenue growth, sales, and quality standards.
Partner with the Retail Manager to set performance expectations, assess team results, and provide coaching for improvement.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store in conjunction with the retail manager including service delivery, staff administration, facility maintenance and appearance, purchasing, record keeping, retail product and merchandise management, administrative functions including scheduling, staffing and recruitment and other operational areas of the retail store.
Collaborate with other business lines to ensure a positive customer experience in all areas of customer contact.
Demonstrate and promote a culture of Shared Values and teamwork.
Prepare and deliver reports as required and ensure the consistent use of analytics to monitor and improve results.
Build relationships in the community to generate business for the retail store and enhance the AAA brand.

Preferred knowledge of Department of Motor Vehicle laws is preferred for the retail store’s state.
