Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic voice of the customer and business within the Data and Innovation teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with business goals, technical feasibility, and team capacity.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to define and deliver high-impact data and AI solutions that drive business value.
- Lead the planning and execution of product increments, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform continuous improvement.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and communication, ensuring transparency and shared understanding across business, scientific, and technical teams.
- Champion data governance, quality, and compliance standards in all product initiatives.
- Drive the strategic direction of AI-powered products, defining a clear and actionable roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional pods to develop AI products, integrating data management, AI, and product development skills.
- Bridge the gap between scientists and product teams, ensuring alignment of outcomes with business needs and value.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or certification in Product Management is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, ideally in a data engineering, analytics, or AI environment.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with deep understanding of product lifecycle management.
- A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in AI-driven solutions and innovation, with a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to enhance data products.
- Experience in ML operations and product management methodologies such as product increment planning and blue ocean strategy.
- Bilingual in French and English, with strong communication skills in both.
