Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required
- Prior laboratory experience in biomedical research
Responsibilities
- Perform or help with research-related activities, including the planning and execution of experiments
- Help facilitate regular laboratory operations
- Perform experiments and manage colonies of mice including basic husbandry and genotyping
- Help procure and manage laboratory inventory, SOPs; handle regulatory compliance (e.g., EHS and IACUC)
- Contribute to publications, grant proposals, and progress reports
- Coordinate and manage relevant laboratory schedules and access
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to independently conduct experiments, including the management of multiple concurrent projects
- Experience managing laboratory operations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with standard molecular biology techniques (cell culture and cell-based assays) and animal handling (colony and behavioral assays)
