Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
  • Four years of related experience.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, applying advanced research methods.
  • Utilize software tools such as SPSS, NVivo, or R to analyze data effectively.
  • Assist in preparing scholarly publications, research reports, and presentations for both academic and public audiences.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and research teams to design, conduct, and evaluate research methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Oversee and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in nutrition or related field
  • Previous experience in community-based participatory research or public health interventions.
  • Experience with grant writing, submission, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ethical standards and regulatory requirements for human subject research.
  • Advanced knowledge of mixed-methods research, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, R).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex research findings to academic, professional, and community audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to mentor students and contribute to the academic development of junior researchers.
