Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
- Four years of related experience.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, applying advanced research methods.
- Utilize software tools such as SPSS, NVivo, or R to analyze data effectively.
- Assist in preparing scholarly publications, research reports, and presentations for both academic and public audiences.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and research teams to design, conduct, and evaluate research methodologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students.
- Oversee and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in nutrition or related field
- Previous experience in community-based participatory research or public health interventions.
- Experience with grant writing, submission, and reporting.
- Familiarity with ethical standards and regulatory requirements for human subject research.
- Advanced knowledge of mixed-methods research, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Strong expertise in data analysis, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, R).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex research findings to academic, professional, and community audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to mentor students and contribute to the academic development of junior researchers.
