Requirements
- Extensive experience in the US fixed-income market in interest rate analysis, quantitative analysis, or similar.
- Familiarity with government bond markets, macroeconomic drivers, geopolitical drivers required.
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have ability to work independently and with the broader team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize is a must.
Responsibilities
- Generate written research for client consumption.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients.
- Managing a group of rates strategists dedicated to US rates markets.
- Respond to requests for information, calls, and data from internal and external clients.
- Keep abreast of industry-related news flow.
- Collaborate with the other research teams on branded and thematic publications.
- Regular interaction with fixed-income sales and trading force.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a finance-based subject (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of US bank portfolio investment management and regulatory dynamics a plus.
- Programming skills.
