Requirements
- PhD in deep learning, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and/or related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in research in pose estimation, motion synthesis, deep learning and related fields
- 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting and leading teams of researchers and engineers
- Experience and track of record in delivering large research initiatives, starting from research to productization in a time-sensitive environment
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, leading technical organizations, including performance management
Responsibilities
- Support and grow a team of domain experts within pose estimation, motion synthesis, and input/interaction modeling
- Drive execution of developing models and systems that are crucial to the end-user experience
- Communicate, collaborate, and build relationships with clients and peer teams to facilitate cross-functional projects
- Remain up-to-date on ongoing algorithm development activities in the team, help work through technical challenges, and be involved in design decisions
- Be hands-on supporting and leading teams of software engineers and research scientists
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, as well as first-authored publications at leading workshops or conferences such as CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGGRAPH
- Experience with model optimization, efficient training and inference
- Demonstrated software engineer experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, or widely used contributions in open source repositories (e.g. GitHub.)
