Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Masters in Computer Science or related field with a specialization in Computer Vision or Machine Learning. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
- Experience developing and designing computer vision technologies and systems.
- Experience developing software in Python.
- Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement algorithms in the areas of machine intelligence.
- Integrate foundation models into data pipelines and deliver the ground truth datasets.
- Evaluate ground truth data qualities.
- Participate in both production and innovative research in computer vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software, research and hardware teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in shipping machine learning products to customers.
- Experience solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, tradeoffs, and wide-ranging points of view to determine a path forward.
- Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by first-authored publications in top conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICASSP, INTERSPEECH etc. or through contributions to industrial applications.
