Research Coordinator – Lang Research

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration, or related field.
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible project coordination experience, preferably in a research setting.
Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.
Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
Time management skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to work well under pressure.

Screen and recruit participants in various studies.
Assist with Informed Consent process and ensure patient understanding of study requirements.
Perform study-related tests and procedures.
Collect and manage research data.
Track study participant’s progress throughout the study.
Monitor patient safety and report any issues to Principal Investigator and study team.
Assist with regulatory compliance following NYPQ policies and federal regulations.
Develop and edit educational materials for distribution.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulations, and maintain effective communication with patients and their families.
Communicate updates and challenges and collaborate with the research study team and Principal Investigator to ensure successful execution of clinical trials.
