Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- 3+ years of industrial laboratory experience required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required
Responsibilities
- Conducts assigned experiments using appropriate equipment, techniques, and protocols under limited supervision
- Carries out experiments that scientifically confirm product performance, reliability, and shelf life under guidance of senior R&D personnel
- Contributes to the design of experiments
- Identifies deficiencies and modifies/improves existing procedures
- Records experimental data and observations and completes calculations according to established procedures
- Maintains accurate records of work
- Prepares standard technical report and summary of results
- Participates and provides feedback in the evaluation of experiment results, ideas, competitor products, and new technologies
- Plans a schedule of research activities according to company’s timetable and establishes daily or weekly routines necessary to meet project timetable
- Develops solutions to problems of moderate complexity
- Applies scientific theory to reach conclusions based on data analysis
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of the company’s new and existing products

- Experience in conducting standard chemical or physical testing required
- Experience in applying good laboratory practices required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills are required
