Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, FactSet, and other financial databases/tools.
- Experience using or implementing research tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for investing.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, review, and reconcile daily trading activity and maintain the team’s POS file.
- Coordinate with support teams on client requests, deliverables, and presentations, reviewing for accuracy and quality prior to PM review.
- Assist with Proxy voting instruction and execution.
- Monitor news, earnings reports, economic data, and market developments.
- Increase investment team productivity through identifying relevant research and information on existing holdings and new stock recommendations.
- Leverage new tools and technologies to enhance data retrieval and streamline the research process.
- Maintain proprietary factor analysis/reports on the aggregate portfolio and individual stocks.
- Assist in portfolio monitoring, risk analysis, performance attribution, and transition/portfolio positioning as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward the CFA designation is a plus.
